Institute was founded in 1971 and it`s Stationary unit in 1981. Since the founding until the present day it was within the Institute for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of Speech, Republic of Serbia, as OOUR “Institute for psychophysiological and speech disorders”. In 1989 it became indipendent and within an integration of the former Institute for Experimental Phonetics and Speech Pathology constituted in “Institute for Psychophysiological Disorders and Speech Pathology “Prof. Dr Cvetko Brajovic”.

It got it's name in appritiation to it's founder Prof. Dr Cvetko Brajovic, one of the most important scientists of this country in general.

Institute is a specialized institution within the health activities, dealing with habilitation and rehabilitation of neuro developemential disorders at children of various ages (mentaly handicapped, paralized, autistic, children with speech disorders etc.)

AMBULANCE, wih it's main office in Kralja Milutina Street No. 52, area of 703 sqm, where is also a head office. The building was made in 1932, Registration resolution No. 8336/99) and montage vessel “Ivanjica”, area of 90 sqm, by Resolution 13/24-89-I-02, 21.06.1989).

HOSPITAL, Center for Specialized Rehabilitation, about 25 km from the center of the city, and with 1400 sqm of space, Cukarica Commune. The Hospital also has an economic building with 210 sqm of space, multiple usage (food storage, archive, garage part and workhouse). Agregate is in a specialy separated part, as an alternative source of energy).
